FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can you find our products?

You can find our products at the Prince George Farmers Market, Betulla Burning pizzeria (http://www.betullaburning.com/) , Cimo (http://www.cimo.ca/), White Goose Bistro (http://whitegoosebistro.ca/) , Playgrounds Cafe (http://www.playgroundscafe.ca/) and through our CSA program

What is a CSA program?

A CSA program is community supported agriculture. Basically it is a subscription service in which the member pays for four weeks worth of vegetables at a time and we deliver them to one of our drop off locations at the desired day the customer chooses. We currently have two days a week in which we drop off. Tuesdays at 4pm and Saturdays at 1pm.

How much does it cost to be on the CSA program?

A typical share costs $35/week and a singles share is $25/week. First time members must pay a $20 membership fee which is good for the life of the farm.

How do I pay?

Currently we accept e-transfers (use the password "hope"), paypal, cash and soon credit card on our online system.

What is in a box?

Currently we offer 8 items per member share each week. Soon single shares will get only 6 while regular shares will receive 8. Products are seasonally available organic produce from our farm and other farms to ensure a good diversity in the box and it is always changing week to week. Products we source from off farm are local first then we slowly move south as winter moves in.We also put our value added products such as our raw sauerkraut, wild berries and wild mushrooms. Customers get to choose their products and the amounts through our online ordering system.

How many people can one box feed?

It really depends on how much vegetables you eat. Everyone's diet is as unique as a fingerprint. A single vegetarian eater should get the regular sized box. A family of 4 that cooks a lot of produce should consider getting two regular shares per week.
